The Chinese group NIU has sold more than one million smart electric scooters. Last year, NIU announced the arrival of the NQi GTS and UQi GT electric scooters.
With the NQi GTS, NIU expands the NQi series, designed for city dwellers who need more range, for example to make daily trips between the suburbs and the city center. Two versions are now available: the NQi GTS Pro and the NQi GTS Sport.
The NQi GTS electric scooter is designed with 14 inch wheels and upgraded suspension, suitable for the many cobbled streets and speed bumps of our downtown areas. Both versions are powered by the 4th generation NIU Energy power unit and NIU Energy battery system.
The NQi GTS Pro, equipped with two 60V35Ah batteries, offers a range of 108 kilometers, while the NQi GTS Sport version, equipped with 60V26Ah batteries, offers a range of 85 km. The 3100W motor allows the use of expressways thanks to its maximum speed of more than 70km / h.
NIU is making a massive overhaul of its UQi series with the introduction of the UQi GT. This was developed on the basis of the very simple design of the UQi series and a lightweight body, which will be favored by users making short journeys.
